In Song And Story

“Since man began to speak and sing, story and song have shared a common heritage. They are born of the same raw materials: dreams and nightmares, people we love, people we hate, sorrow, joy, peace, violence and, always, girls.

These two estranged brothers are reunited, as songs from Rafe Morris and the Well-Dressed and stories from Kale Bogdanovs combine for an evening ofaction, adventure, emotion and epiphany (and girls).”

What does that mean??

Rafe gave a bunch of songs to his comedian/writer friend, Kale.  Kale wrote stories to relate to the songs.  These stories were read as a way to introduce the songs.  Story, song, story, song, etc.  It’s heaps way good.

This was first performed at the Street Theatre Canberra, then at the National Folk Festival, and soon it will feature at the Escape Art Festival on the South Coast.

If you ever get a chance to see it, I advise you to do so.

If you’d like to have In Song and Story performed at your event, please get in touch!
